Quirk Hotel
I love visiting Richmond, VA’s very own boutique hotel, Quirk Hotel. Ted and Katie Ukrops opened the doors of Quirk Hotel in the Fall of 2015, located on Broad Street in downtown Richmond’s thriving arts district. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted by beautiful smiles and the friendliest staff.
Once inside I begin to do a lot of “oohing” and “ahhing”, and trust me, you will too! The décor is absolutely beautiful. The hotel is housed inside a 1916 luxury department store. The ceilings are 13 feet tall and the hotel has the original maple floors. Every little unexpected detail is so unique and totally “quirky”! I love it! The hotel is connected next door to the Quirk Gallery, an art space directed by Katie.
I love all the touches of pink in the decor. It's such a lovely and chic place to meet up with friends for brunch or to meet up after work. And yes, the food is awesome! Check out the details of the staircase below. Every detail is truly "picture perfect"!
Yes, pink velvet covering the bar stools. Such a fashionable detail...don't you think!
The roof top lounge and bar is great for hosting an intimate wedding or event or meeting up with friends and co-workers after work. I've been up on the roof top lounge during the summer and it is AMAZING!
I love that the guest rooms are pink and each floor has a unique portrait made from papier-mâché that greets you as you get off the elevator!
Thanks so much to Ali of Alisandra Photography for capturing all of the pretty details and guys, make sure you visit Quirk when you are in the RVA area!
