MY FAVORITE BANANA REPUBLIC SUIT

Happy Wednesday Beautiful People! Do you have a favorite article of clothing…that one piece that you are so glad you purchased and one that you’ve had for several seasons but you can always hook it up and it becomes a totally different vibe! Well y’all, I actually have a few staple pieces in the wardrobe, but this suit from Banana Republic is definitely one of my favorite pieces. I’ll do a post soon on all the different ways I can style it but for now, check out this blog post to see how I styled it the first time I wore it!

For this look, I added a pop of color with the suit…I’m wearing a hot pink top from J.Crew…which by the way, I’ve had for about five years I do believe. I also changed up from my Ruby Woo lipstick and went with a little darker lip for this look…sunnies are from Free People…..and I added a white heel from DSW and a white hand bag from Target. This look is a bit edgy and totally chic and take note, I pushed up the sleeves on the jacket. For this look, I’m also wearing one of my favorite looks from Rhythm Wigs…I love the color and the curls of this gorgeous wig…it totally brings on a new confidence!

Tips for styling “Power Suits”!

• Dress it down with a tee shirt and sneakers

• Go with an over sized jacket…as if you shopped your Dad or your Boo’s closet

• Cinch the jacket with a belt

• Go with a Bold color or pattern

• In the Fall, style it with a turtleneck

• Simply your accessories
