Floral Paisley Blouse - Ann Taylor Loft
Happy Monday Guys! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and thanks so much for stopping by Medley Style today! I'm excited and doing my "happy dance" because I'm introducing a new feature at Medley Style....I'm still in the process of naming this series, so hopefully by the second feature, I'll have the name for ya....maybe "Fabulous At Any Age".
When I decided to launch the site, one of the features that I wanted to be apart of Medley Style is to share with my audience how I would style a certain article of clothing and how someone younger or older than me would style the same article of clothing....showing how fabulous style is at any age. When I'm out and about, I get compliments on my style from women of all ages and some will say that they love what I'm wearing but they feel they are "too old" to wear it...I share my age with them and let them know that age is truly just a number. Of course, there are certain things that we may not choose to wear but at least step out of your comfort zone and try it on...you just may like it!
So, for the first feature, I called my girlfriend and fellow fashion blogger, the beautiful Shamara of Beau Life (make sure you follow her...you're gonna love her style!) I've been knowing Shamara for a couple of years now and I met her when she was planning her wedding...I had the pleasure of designing the flowers for her wedding and I remember the first time she came to my home...the first thing I said to her was OMG, I love your style and you should start a fashion blog...2 years later and she did!
We choose to wear the same blouse for this feature and we found this beautiful Floral Paisley Blouse at Ann Taylor Loft. We both loved the pattern and we knew that it would be fun styling. The day of the shoot, Shamara showed up looking beautiful as always, pairing the blouse with a chic yellow skirt from Zara (she purchased last season...don't you just love it). I paired the blouse with a pair of ripped jeans from South Moon Under (purchased last year) with my blue suede heels from Steve Madden and don't you just love this cute round crossbody from Target.
